No matter how much you do, physical activity is good for your body and mind. Adults should aim to be active every day. Some is good – more is better still.

How it works

Move More will help to change and maintain your behaviour so that you become and stay more active.

Our programme is designed for people who are inactive or have low-risk health conditions. The aim is to help you increase your physical activity levels in order to improve your overall health and wellbeing. Doing this will help to reduce risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease.

Each session covers a mix of educational content, goal setting, and practical strategies for being more active. Our regular check-ins will help you stay on track and address any challenges you may face.

  • One-to-one sessions with a Health & Wellbeing Coach

  • In person or online

  • 15/30 minutes session duration. Weeks one to six: 30 minutes, weeks seven to ten: 15 minutes

  • One session a week for ten weeks

    Getting Started

    Introducing the programme, baseline measurements, establishing your goals and exploring what is to come.

  • Sessions 2-6:
    Core Topics

    You will cover physical activity topics, with each session tailored to your needs. 

  • Session 7-10:
    Check-Ins

    Sessions that consolidate learning and progress, setting you up for maintaining healthy lifestyle habits independently plus celebrate completing the programme!
