How it works

Cut Down to Quit will help you if you do not feel quite ready to quit tobacco use entirely.

Our programme is designed for people who would benefit from cutting down the amount they smoke in preparation for a full quit attempt. The aim is to help you change and sustain your healthy behaviour in order to reduce the risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease.

Your Health & Wellbeing Coach will use discussions, motivational techniques, practical exercises, and goal setting to help you change your behaviour around smoking.

Once you have completed Cut Down to Quit you can move on to our Be Tobacco Free programme.

  • One-to-one sessions with a Health & Wellbeing Coach

  • In person or online

  • 30 minutes session duration

  • One session per week for three weeks
