Be Tobacco Free
You are up to three times more likely to succeed with the right support.
However long you have smoked for and whatever your circumstances, One You can provide professional support for your quit attempt.
There are two main ways to try quitting smoking.
One way is to stop completely. You set a quit date and stop altogether on this date.
The other way is to cut down. You set your quit date and then reduce the amount you smoke gradually until this date, and then you stop completely.

How it works
The earlier you quit smoking, the more you're likely to benefit.
But it is never too late - because quitting will improve your health whatever your age and no matter how long you have smoked.
Reasons to quit smoking include better physical and mental health and benefits for your family and friends.
It is much easier to stop smoking when you get the right support and with professional help, you are three times as likely to quit for good.
Our Be Tobacco Free programme can help you. It is available either as a personal one-to-one programme or in a group setting. You can take part from the age of 12 years and above.
Alongside expert behaviour change support from your dedicated coach; you will also receive:
- Free access to stop smoking aids such as, Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT)
- Free access to Vapes
- Support to get prescription only medications (e.g. Cytisine and Varenicline).
If you’re struggling to quit smoking while pregnant, we can help you to quit. We work alongside GPs and midwives, with clinics in various midwifery units, to support you to quit smoking during your pregnancy and beyond.
We also offer help to people that are smoking shisha and vapes.

One-to-one sessions

The one-to-one Be Tobacco Free programme has been designed by experts and is proven to help you quit for good.
The aim is to help you change and sustain your healthy behaviour in order to reduce the risk factors associated with cardiovascular disease.
Your Health & Wellbeing Coach will use discussions, motivational techniques, practical exercises, and goal setting to help you change your behaviour around smoking.
Using best practice guidelines, we will help you create a stop smoking plan, understand your nicotine cycle, the effect of cigarette chemicals and the impact of second-hand smoke. You will be supported to reflect on your smoking habits and past quit attempts to identify patterns of behaviour that can be successfully changed.
