Turning point- Tochukwu’s Story

21st October 2025

Living with asthma for many years, Tochukwu found that his condition had gradually slowed him down. Rigorous physical activity became a thing of the past, and his fitness and stamina began to decline. But Tochukwu knew something had to change — and that’s when he discovered the Move More programme.

Move More is designed to help people who are inactive or have low-risk health conditions become and stay more active. Through tailored sessions, it supports behaviour change to improve overall health and wellbeing.

“I urgently needed to improve my fitness, and I wanted to make sustainable lifestyle adjustments and regain my strength. With support from my coach, I began attending weekly gym sessions and engaging in regular health coaching. The programme offered me a structured, supportive environment to rebuild my fitness — and it didn’t stop there.

“I’ve now started swimming lessons and pilates, and I’m impressed at how fast I’m gaining strength and stamina. I still have a long way to go, but I’m getting into the flow — and that’s a big deal for me.”

For Tochukwu, one of the most valuable aspects of the programme was its accessibility. “The cost-free access to fitness training and health coaching is a huge benefit that I’m very grateful for.”

Each session covers a mix of educational content, goal setting, and practical strategies for being more active. Our regular check-ins will help you stay on track and address any challenges you may face.

Looking ahead, Tochukwu is focused on maintaining consistency. Even after the 10–12 weeks of the programme, he’s committed to continuing his journey toward better health and wellbeing.

“I’ve rated my experience a 5 out of 5, this has been a turning point for me.”
