Spotlight: Building a No Wrong Door Approach in West London
24th February 2026
We recently took part in the West London Neighbourhood Health Navigation Workshop, and left feeling genuinely energised about what’s ahead.
There was a strong sense of shared purpose in the room. Partners spoke openly, honestly, and ambitiously about how we can do things differently, together. What came through clearly was our collective commitment to creating a true No Wrong Door approach—one where every resident receives the right support, first time, regardless of where they enter the system.
At One You Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster (KCW), we’re proud to play an important role in shaping this vision. By working closely with neighbourhood teams, we help residents access timely, practical support that can make a meaningful difference to their health and wellbeing.
What’s working well: A zoned approach at 209 Harrow Road
One powerful example of the neighbourhood health model in action is our zoned delivery approach at 209 Harrow Road, delivered in collaboration with Turning Point.
Here, residents can access a spectrum of support all in one place—from behaviour change interventions to specialist substance misuse services. This reduces duplication and removes barriers, making it easier for people to get the right help when they need it.
Within this zone, we are strengthening partnerships with:
- LDN London, via 389a Harrow Road
- Local GP Practices
- Central London Community Healthcare (CLCH) Primary Care
- Kensington and Chelsea Family Hub teams
Together, these collaborations are embedding the principles of the neighbourhood health model: co-location, communication, shared priorities, and joined-up delivery. Working side by side with local providers allows us to offer more seamless care and connect people more effectively to the support they need. This integrated approach is already improving engagement and helping drive better health outcomes across our communities.
